43 Micro players have made moves up to the main team

Since its inception in August 2021, Metagame Micro has always been aimed at being an environment of opportunity and growth for 50NL – players, after all we know how difficult it can be to scale the lower limits alone and how many people give up Poker during this period.

Although Metagame is, in essence, aggressive about its members’ moves ups, the number of moves ups from the Micro team to the main team is something fantastic: 43 players have moved from Tier Low to Tier 3 in just over a year.

Warley Marques is one of these players and said his move up is the result of Metagame support added to his willingness to become a poker professional. ” I directed my life in those months to develop my game within the strategy offered by Metagame, and the opportunity to live with extremely intelligent people with the same goal is a fuel of motivation. We helped each other a lot as a team and were happy to grow up together,” said the player.

“Our primary goal is to make our players winners in the low stakes as quickly as possible so they can move up to the Main Team.  Of course, everyone has their time, and we shouldn’t compare ourselves to others, but it’s important that every poker player has consistency, vision of where he wants to go and is strategic in his day-to-day decisionmaking,” said Max Lacerda, CEO of Metagame Micro.

It is also worth noting that more than 100 players have passed through the Micro team since its inception and some even realized that Poker was not the ideal way for them. But these players had a chance to try and can now go on without the feeling of “what if” if they were still walking alone.

Metagame Micro grew a lot in 2022 and will continue to grow and improve all its processes in 2023. On January 2, Max Lacerda announced the signing of the player Caio “piraostars” Pires as technical support, responsible for improving and creating processes, improving the organization and even the experience of the team’s players.
